Independent Hearings Panel’s review
We’ve had a pretty busy few weeks preparing a written submission for the Independent Hearings Panel’s review of the procedural and legal issues around Council and Government decision-making. Not exactly light bedtime reading, but important stuff.
Georgie and Anna did the hard yards, including the slightly daunting business of standing up in front of a panel of esteemed planners and lawyers and making our case. It went really well. We were complimented on the pedigree of our documentation, and on the candid, principled way it was presented. A well deserved G&T for those guys after!
We’re now working on our substantive submission to the Independent Hearings Panel. Having seen the panel in action, we have a very positive view of the way they approach their work.
